This is a seasoning I use ALL THE TIME. I have it at least a few times a week on tilapia. I use it frequently on shrimp, I mix it with other spices like in my Fish Taco Recipe . Nik has also used it on chicken and in other seasoning for steak and pork.
I made this recipe to cut down on the salt that most cajun seasoning has. It’s extremely easy to make and by making it yourself you can tweak the recipe to meet your tastebud needs as well.
- 1 ½ tbsp paprika
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 2 tsp onion powder
- 2 tsp black pepper
- 2 tsp cayenne pepper
- 2 tsp oregano
- 2 tsp thyme
- 1 tsp Pink Himalayan Salt (optional)
- Mix all ingredients thoroughly.
- Store in an air tight container.
