Burn fat FAST, with this 20 Minute Treadmill HIIT Workout!
I don’t know about you, but waking up in the morning can be HARD! But, as you know, I am all about morning workouts and getting it DONE early. I like getting my cardio in in the morning, but sometimes with a crazy schedule, it’s hard to find the time, and definitely don’t want to get up earlier. So that why I usually do HIIT workout in the morning!
I LOVE HIIT workouts for cardio first thing in the morning because I can get a killer workout in, in half the time…meaning I get to sleep just a few minutes later! 😉 I usually do HIIT workouts at least 2-3 times per week, as well as a few longer steady state cardio sessions as well.
Reasons to ♡ HIIT Workouts!
HIIT Workouts are SUPER efficient – depending on your intensity level 15 minutes of HIIT can equal up to 1 hour on the treadmill. We don’t know about you, but we would much rather be hanging with our girlfriends for 45 minutes than hangout on the treadmill…
Burn more Fat! – Because you’re exerting so much energy during you workout, it will take you body longer to recover, keeping your metabolism raised and making you burn more fat for longer. HIIT workouts can make you burn fat for up to 24 hours!
Strengthen your Heart ♥ – Interval workouts increase cardiac output, making your heart pump more efficiently, having a healthy heart means being able to breathe better and enjoy things you love for longer, like dancing or hiking with your loved ones!
Break up the Boredom! – Intervals can also help break up your workout so that it doesn’t seem so boring. Constantly changing speed or incline will make it seem like your workout goes by quicker.
