There is nothing sexier than a women who has a toned upper back! A well-toned upper back makes wearing tank tops, spaghetti-straps, and those SUPER sexy low-cut dresses, even more eye catching! 😉
Today we wanted to share some of our favorite back toning exercises! We love adding these into a Full Body Workout or if we are pinched for time we will even do this as our full strength workout! We love adding this after we complete our #WakeUpWorkouts or after we do some Cardio or HIIT Workouts.
Add these 3 moves into your workouts and you will feel confident this summer in those super thin spaghetti straps!
3 Moves to a Beautiful Back
Add these 3 moves to your workouts to sculpt a sexy upper back and feel confident in those spaghetti-strap sundresses this summer! 😉 For the best results do each move 3 times!
- Full Plank Row – These will get your whole body working! Starting in a plank position with your hands holding the weights, shift your weight into the LEFT arm as you raise your RIGHT arm up into a row position squeezing the shoulder blade. Staying balanced, extend the RIGHT arm all the way up to the sky. Bend at the elbow to return to your row position and lower the weight all the way back down to the ground. Repeat with the LEFT arm. Complete 20 repetitions or 10 on each side.
- Bent Over Fly – Time to spread those wings and fly! Start in a bent over position, with your back straight and holding your weights with your palms facing in. With a slightly bend in the elbow, and moving from the shoulder joint, bring the arms out to the side, squeezing the shoulder blades together, and lower back down. Repeat for 15 repetitions.
- Bent Over Row – Row, row, row your boat! Bent over rows are one of the BEST exercises for those back muscles. Start in your bent over position, palms facing in. Try to have your back almost parallel to the ground. Bend from the elbows and bring the elbows up to the sky, squeezing your shoulder blades together at the top. Slowly and controlled lower back down, making sure not to round your back. Do 15 repetitions.
