You have heard us for a while talking about our #WakeUpWorkouts. If you are part of the #Lean4Halloween Challenge you have also noticed that each morning you are assigned your own #WakeUpWorkouts.
But what is it?
Your #WakeUpWorkouts is your morning cardio! We want you to wake up 30 minutes earlier each day and get yourself moving! Every, single morning hop out of bed and get your workout gear on and get out the door! No Excuses!
Why do we do #WakeUpWorkouts?
There are so many benefits to working out in the morning! For example, the fact that NOTHING else is going to get in your way of your workout. What if work gets a little crazy and you have to stay late? If you did your #WakeUpWorkouts that morning, you’re all set! No having to worry about not being able to squeeze a workout in! Plus, what if you have a invite for Happy Hour and you haven’t done your #WakeUpWorkouts? You don’t want a workout to get in the way of time with friends! 😉
Also, waking up early and getting a kick start on your day is literally a KICK START….for your metabolism! Morning workouts will Rev up your metabolism keep you burning fat all day long!
Not only is your metabolism going to be fired up, but so will your mood and your energy level! Doing your #WakeUpWorkouts will give you a rush of endorphins and an energy boost for the rest of the day. Your mind will be clearer, and you will be able to be more productive at work and at home!
Your #WakeUpWorkouts will also help you sleep better. Since exercise stimulates your body and gets hormones flowing, when you exercise at night your energy level will be up, making it harder to relax and fall asleep.
Not an early riser?
Don’t sweat it! We are only asking you to wake up 30 minutes earlier! It will be hard at first but, once you get into the flow you’ll find that it’ll be hard NOT to wake up and workout every single morning! It will soon be a part of your healthy lifestyle and you will love waking up to start the fat burning machine that you’ve created!
What counts as your #WakeUpWorkouts?
ANYTHING!! We don’t care how you get moving, just move! Go for a light walk, jog or run. Go for a swim or bike ride. If you don’t want to leave home or the weather is less than ideal, try one our Cardio Workouts to get your heart pumping! It doesn’t matter you do WHAT you do, as long as you DO IT!
Get up and do at least 20-30 minutes of cardio each morning! Follow right after your cardio, or later on in the day, with one of your toning workouts for the #Lean4Halloween Challenge or any of our Workouts to get YOUR BEST BODY!
Invite your friends and inspire them to join you for your #WakeUpWorkouts every day! Creating a strong support team will help hold you accountable for those early alarms! Remember, the early bird catching the fat burn…or was it worm..? 🙂
