How have we already made it through almost 8 more weeks of the #BeachBumChallenge?
You ladies have ROCKED this challenge and I could not be prouder! I can’t wait for our next challenge — but before we get into that, let’s celebrate these last few weeks with just one more hard-working week and make this very last week worth it!
Don’t give up now — work hard, and push through this week harder than you ever have before. You can do so much more that you think — and you’re capable of so much more than you give yourself credit for.
Push through your workouts, and push through this week. You can do it girl, and we are all there to hep you reach your goals.

#BeachBumChallenge Week 8 Schedule

Total Body Toning
Start the day with 30 minutes of cardio! We’re working on those INTERVALS again today! Go for TWO minutes of high intensity for every ONE minute of low to moderate intensity.
After your cardio, it’s time to move on to total body toning with your NEW Full Body Resistance Band Workout. Complete 2-4 rounds total, to tighten every inch of your beautiful body!
It’s time to tone those abs with a Fit Girl Favorite — your Kettlebell Abs Workout. Go through your entire workout at least once, and if you really want to tone up those abs, complete the entire routine a seconds time.
Push Up Practice! – We are on our last week of the #BeachBumChallenge, and we are throwing in another push up TEST this week! So get ready for a strong week of push ups with 3 sets of 20 push ups today.
Cardio & Yoga
20 minutes of Cardio – Get those legs moving with just 20 minute of cardio today. No need to push it today, just get your body going!
After your cardio, it’s time to get centered with 30 minutes of Yoga. My cousin-in-law just introduced me to an awesome new yoga channel on Youtube called Yoga with Adriene. She has a TON of yoga sequences to help you reach ANY goal you have whether it’s weight loss, balance, or just relaxing. Check out her channel and see if she has something you’re interested in adding into your yoga practice.
After you’ve tried something new, let’s go to another Fit Girl favorite with Pilates with the Stability Ball — it’s a perfect full body workout that uses one of our favorite pieces of equipment AND combines Pilates toning for a fantastic and fun workout.
Hump Day Booty
30 Minutes of Cardio — Getting in some Hump Day HILLS and WORK that booty for 20 minutes!
Grab your Pilates Ring and get ready to tone those thighs and booty with your Pilates Ring Thigh Toner. Complete the entire routine three times — and remember, if you don’t have a Pilates Ring, you can also do this workout with a resistance band and a throw pillow! 😉
And last but not least, we’re going both BOTH lunges AND squats today! We are doing 100 lunges AND 100 squats!! YES, you heard right! Pick different variations or your favorite variation of each and get ready for some serious booty toning!
Arms & Abs
Get that heart rate up, and get ready for 20 steady minutes of cardio. Pick your most favorite type of cardio, and get into the zone girl!
it’s time to blast some SERIOUS calories with your HIIT & Arms Fat Burning Circuit. Complete 3 rounds to burn fat, blast calories, and sculpt beautifully toned arms!
It’s tummy toning time with your 10 Minutes Pilates Ab Workout – this routine with sculpt that beautiful waistline and make you feel fabulous!
It’s time for this week’s first Plank Practice — today’s practice will be a 60 second plank! Really work that plank and give it all you’ve got. We are doing a plank TEST later this week! 😉
Total Body Ball Toning
It’s another INTERVAL day ladies! Complete 30 minutes of Cardio to start the day! Warm up for 5 minutes then do two INTENSE minutes, followed by one minute of moderate intensity. Keep that up for 20 minutes, and cool down for 5 minutes when you’re finished.
We are throwing it back to the 2015 #BeachBumChallenge with our Swimsuit Slimdown Workout. Complete 3-4 rounds of this circuit for a total body toning from head to toe.
Push Up TEST! – It’s time to test out those push ups to see how far you’ve come over the last few weeks. Try doing as many push ups as possible in one set. Record how many push ups you can do, and record it in your journal. Do as many as possible on your toes, and switch over to push ups on your knees when you need to. But stay strong girl, you got this!
5k, Push Ups, & Abs
5k Run (or walk) or 10 Mile Bike Ride – This is it ladies! It’s Week 8 and it’s time to see how much you’ve improved over the last 8 weeks with your 5k walk, run, of 10 mile bike ride! Give it everything you’ve got this morning for a FAST 5k and to get your sweat on. You will feel like a rockstar seeing how far you’ve come and seeing how much you’ve accomplished over these last 8 weeks.
Plank TEST! – Finish the #BeachBumChallenge strong with one last plank! Test your strength ans see how long you can hold a beautiful, perfect plank. Be sure to keep good form and when you start to feel like you are losing form finsih off you plank. We have been working for this over the last few weeks, so get yourself in the zone and KNOW you can do this.
Self Love Sunday
You deserve a glass of champagne after these last 8 weeks. Take some time to celebrate and enjoy a glass of bubbly. Invite your girlfriends over, or ask your hubby to join you. Reflect on the last 2 months and all of the hard work you’ve put in. You can do ANYTHING you put your mind to, and you are SO strong.
Take care of those muscles with some foam rolling and stretching to help those muscles recover. Take this next week to let those muscle recoup and catch up on a few workouts if you’ve missed them, or joined us later in the challenge…we have a new challenge starting soon!
