I’ve got another posture workout for you today ladies that will make you feel lean, tall, and confident in the swimsuit this summer ladies!
This Pilates workout will focus on strengthening your core — aka your abs and your back — so that you can stand up straighter. And we will also be focusing on those upper back muscles to strengthen those postural muscles in the shoulders, as well as stretching out tight muscles in the front shoulders and chest.
Bonus: Did you know that having good posture doesn’t only make you LOOK better, it actual helps you FEEL better and allows your body to FUNCTION better!
When you stand in correct alignment, your brain has more access to oxygen — which is like fuel for your brain — helping to improve your memory AND allows you to focus on tasks you need to get done throughout the day.
Your posture also effects how your organ function too. When you’re standing and sitting properly, your organs can function to their maximum potential, allowing your metabolism to reach it’s peak, and gets everything moving properly including your muscles AND what you ate for dinner last night (if you get my drift!! 😉 )
So adding this quick workout into your routine can help not only your confidence, but can boost your mood, energy, AND overall wellness! And if you are ALL about that you can also try this posture workout too!
