DIY Beachy Wave Texturizing Spray

DIY Sea Salt Hair Spray

Summer may technically be over…but that’s not stopping me. I am the kind of girl that keeps summer going as long as possible — especially since moving to Los Angeles. And nothing says summer like beachy and — honestly — MESSY, hair.

I have a ton of my favorite beauty secrets here on the blog — most of which are all natural and homemade — so, I’m surprised I haven’t shared this already with you — it’s been a long time coming to be honest!

They thing is, it’s incredibly easy to create beachy waves at home. See, it’s all about the texture.

Texture is what makes beachy hair. Like I said MESSY. So, really, when you want beachy waves, you gotta get your hair a little dirty. šŸ˜‰

DIY Sea Salt Spray

I use some pink Himalayan salt and argan oil to make my hair justttt messy enough. Plus, the argan oil is absolutely amazing for your hair.

You know the Moroccan Oil brand?? Yeah they use argan oil — Ok, confusing, I know.

Here’s the deal, argan oil comes from the Argan tree, native to Morocco. Morrocan oil IS argan oil, as well as a few other oils and ingredients…I’ll explain it in a another post soon, with some more benefits of true, 100% argan oil…basically argan oil is the REALLY good stuff — it’s like liquid gold.

So, add a little argan oil and Himalayan salt (or sea salt) to some distilled water, add a few drop of essential oils if you wish, and you have yourself and all-natural and non-toxic beachy wave spray you can use all year long.
