Pineapple Mango Salsa ♡

This pineapple mango salsa is the perfect addition to tacos, topped over grilled chicken or fish, or just served plain with some corn tortilla chips!

This easy Pineapple Mango Salsa is made in just 5 minutes and is full of flavor!

There is something about summer that inspires me to try new ways of cooking up some of the same old things. I always love finding fresh new ways to enjoy grilled chicken, or a way to spice up some summer fish.

One thing that I go back to at least a few time each summer is this tried and true Pineapple Mango Salsa!

I have been making this salsa for the last 4 years and it NEVER fails — plus it’s an amazing dish to bring to summer parties and will score you major brownie points!

The first time I made this was the summer I moved out of my mom’s house and was living on my own.

I invited her over for the first dinner I ever cooked on my own, in my brand new apartment. I made blackened mahi mahi with this pineapple mango salsa.

It ended up being perfect because it looks like and impressive meal, but in reality it’s super simple and everything comes together in less than 30 minutes!

To this day it is still my favorite way to enjoy this salsa!

But it’s also excellent over grilled chicken, in tropical tacos (Nik’s personal favorite!), served with homemade pita chips, or over a tropical-inspired salad! However you want to enjoy this pineapple mango salsa is up to you!

Pineapple Mango Salsa

  • 2 cups pineapple, diced small
  • 1 mango, diced small
  • 1 avocado, diced small
  • 1/2 red bell pepper, diced small
  • 1/2 cup green onions
  • 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro
  • 1 jalapeño, seeded and minced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • juice from 1 lime
  • black pepper


  1. Mix all ingredients together in a medium bowl until combined.

  1. We love the salsa, but it makes quite a bit for just the two of us. How long does it keep? Have you tried freezing it?

    1. I’m glad you like it! I would’t recommend freezing it, because it will lose a lot of it’s texture. I will keep about 5 days or so…You could always try making a half batch, or find other ways to use it up…I like adding it to salads or tacos in lettuce wraps.
