Simple Grilled Shrimp
Nothings is better in the summer than spending time with friends outside and cooking up fresh food!
Nik and I had a little rooftop cookout with friends a few days ago. And as always, we definitely had more food than we needed!
Not to mention a beautiful view, perfectly blended cocktails and drinks, and a night with best friends, life doesn’t get much better!
As far as our menu goes we had an array of healthy and tasty foods as well as a few treats.
We made these amazing, but SO simple grilled shrimp as well as some healthy Teriyaki Chicken Kebobs. As well as some simple sides like this delicious Curried Couscous, and some easy healthy slaw.
My mouth is watering just thinking about it all again!

This simple grilled shrimp recipe is so easy and only takes about 5 minutes to get everything together and let marinate. Plus, if you have your shrimp pre-peeled and deveined at the store it is even faster!
This easy shrimp recipe can go with just about anything.
I even meal prep it sometimes to go with a bunch of different meals.
I love it as my protein topped on salads or wrap it with some veggies in an Ezekiel wrap. It is even the base for the killer Shrimp Scampi recipe in the Recipe Guide.

Simple Grilled Shrimp
- Prep Time: 5

- Total Time: 60
Ingredients
- 1 pound Shrimp – peeled and deveined
- 1 tablespoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1–2 cloves Garlic – minced
- 1/2 teaspoon Fresh Black Pepper
- pinch Crushed Red Pepper (optional)
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients together in a medium bowl and allow to marinate for about 45 minutes.
- Preheat grill to a high heat.
- Cook shrimp on high for 2-3 minutes per side until they are pink and opaque.
