Strawberry Mango Sunrise Smoothie

Oh boy, do I have a treat for you!!

As you know, I have been craving summer like CRAZY…and to me, that means craving all the refreshing foods and treats of summer. This Strawberry Mango Sunrise Smoothie is just the ticket!

This smoothie packs will wake you up and start you day with a nutritional punch! It makes the most perfect quick and easy breakfast smoothie, and will leave you feeling satisfied. PLUS, it’s filled with lots of protein from my all time favorite ingredient: Greek yogurt. It’s my go-to protein booster for smoothies!

It’s also made with another favorite: Coconut Water!! Coconut water provides tons of healthy electrolytes that you need after a tough workout. Drinking coconut water after a morning workout will help your body recover faster and give you energy all day long. It’s also filled with vitamins and minerals like calcium, iron, manganese, magnesium, and zinc. It’s a great source of potassium, which as you know, helps beat bloating!

There are literally so many benefits of coconut water! Another reason why I love coconut water (besides how delicious it is!), is that coconut water is known to have cytokinins, which are a type of plant-hormone. These plant-hormones have been found to have a significant anti-aging effect on human cells and tissues. YES, PLEASE!  Coconut water also contains naturally occurring bioactive enzymes, which are enzymes that help aid digestion and boost your metabolism.

Strawberry Mango Sunrise Smoothie

  • 1 cup frozen diced strawberries
  • 1 cup frozen diced mango
  • 1 ripe banana, divided
  • 1 cup non-fat Greek yogurt, divided
  • 3/4 cup coconut water


  1. Start with the Mango Layer: Blend the mangos, 1/2 banana, 1/2 cup Greek yogurt, 1/4 cup coconut water, and the orange juice until smooth. Pour into 2 glasses and rinse out your blender.
  2. For the Strawberry Layer: Blend the strawberries, 1/2 banana, 1/2 cup Greek yogurt, and 1/2 cup coconut water until smooth. Pour over the mango layer and enjoy!
