2tablespoons green tea leaves (or 4 green tea bags)
1medium lemon sliced
1medium orangesliced
1/4 cup mint leavesfresh
1tablespoon honey (optional)
optionalIce for iced tea
Instructions
Boil the water:Bring 4 cups of water to a near boil (around 175°F or 80°C) in a teapot or saucepan. Green tea is best brewed with slightly cooler water than black tea to avoid bitterness.
Prepare the mint and citrus:While the water is heating, gently muddle the mint leaves in a teapot or pitcher to release their flavor. Add the lemon and orange slices.
Steep the tea:Once the water has reached the right temperature, pour it over the tea leaves (or bags) in the pot with the citrus and mint. Let it steep for 3-5 minutes, depending on your preferred tea strength.
Strain the tea:If using loose leaves, strain the tea into a pitcher or directly into cups. Remove the tea bags if using them.
Sweeten (optional):Stir in honey if you prefer a touch of sweetness.
Serve:Enjoy the tea warm or serve it over ice for a refreshing iced tea. Garnish with extra mint and citrus slices if desired.

Notes
For a stronger mint flavor, add the mint leaves at the beginning while heating the water.
Experiment with different citrus fruits like lime or grapefruit for a unique twist.
If you want an extra kick of flavor, add a slice of fresh ginger while steeping the tea.
Be careful not to over-steep the green tea, as it can become bitter.
