Instructions
Prepare the Cilantro Lime Crema: Combine Greek yogurt, cilantro, lime juice, garlic powder, and salt in a small blender or food processor. Blend until smooth and refrigerate until ready to use.
Season the Fish: Pat the fish fillets dry with paper towels. In a small bowl, mix chili powder, smoked paprika, cumin, garlic powder, cayenne (if using), and salt. Rub the spice mixture evenly over both sides of the fish.
Cook the Fish: Heat olive oil in a non-stick skillet or grill pan over medium heat. Add the fish and cook for 3–4 minutes per side, or until it becomes opaque and flakes easily with a fork. Remove from the skillet and let rest for 2 minutes before gently breaking it into large chunks.
Warm the Tortillas: Use the same skillet to warm the tortillas for 20–30 seconds per side, or wrap them in foil and heat in a low oven (300°F/150°C) for 5 minutes.
Assemble the Tacos: Place a few pieces of fish on each tortilla. Top with shredded cabbage, diced tomatoes, red onion, and jalapeño slices if desired. Drizzle with cilantro lime crema.
Serve: Garnish with lime wedges and extra cilantro. Serve immediately and enjoy!
